“Hookin’ Up??”

Adolescence is a time for experimentation and stretching the limits.  For this to be done safely, teens must develop a positive sense of self with clear, healthy boundaries.  Too often, both girls and boys approach dating and relationships with unclear ideas about appropriate behavior, or few skills in setting limits for themselves.
The price can be high:   Loss of self respect,  loss of relationships, health problems, and pregnancy.

This class has been developed for adolescents and young adults at the request of the Court system, but it is appropriate for all young people who want to feel more in control of their relationships and themselves.  It offers a safe place to explore sexuality, self and relationships without judgment.

We require parental involvement if the student is under 17.  The class for parents is held separately from the class for students, and focuses on helping parents help their children develop social and emotional “muscle.”
