Drug screening services are a standard part of our substance abuse treatment program, but they are also useful for employers who may or may not have a Drug Free workplace program or parents who are concerned about their children.

Person to Person uses either a urine sample or saliva sample to test for the presence frequently abused drugs.  A typical screen tests for five different drugs:  methamphetamines, benzodiazepines, marijuana, cocaine and opiates.  Testing for additional drugs is available upon request. 

 

We provide urine collection services at our McDonough location, which is staffed during business hours.  Collected samples can be immediately analyzed via instant test kits on site or sent to a certified laboratory for analysis.  In this case, turnaround time usually occurs within 48 hours.  A positive drug screen may take longer due to verification procedures at the lab and in some cases certification by a medical review officer.
